Case Studies

New oil central heating system

A customer had moved in to a new property and asked us to quote for a new central heating system. From the initial survey we found an antiquated oil boiler which failed to comply with regulations and was also very inefficient. The system also had an oil tank in the integrity of the building which was a huge fire risk. Having studied various options we advised an oil condensing boiler along with a pressurised hot water cylinder. This will give an excellent hot water flow rate to multiple showers without the use of a noisy pump. We also used a mixture of contemporary and steel panel radiators, ensuring that the property should also be heated efficiently. Plentiful hot water and toasty rooms a match made in boiler heaven!

New bathroom in an old property

This bathroom design was a good challenge; the room was in an elderly property with uneven walls. It was also important not to alter the existing structure and to conceal the pipework where possible. The customer was keen to have a relaxing bath, but also a separate shower. Despite not having large space to play with, our design managed to include a roll top bath, large 1m x 800mm modern shower and tall towel rail, plus a semi recessed sink with storage, mirrored shelving and a bespoke shelving unit. The warm sage and cream tones give the bathroom a light contemporary feel, while the design is hardworking and practical.
